CAN Research Group – Oral Allergy Syndrome

Christmas is truly over and I have been back to work in the CAN Research Group, this months topic is Oral Allergy Syndrome.

Oral Allergy Syndrome (OAS) is also known as Pollen Food Syndrome (PFS). We are looking to see if there is a lower incidence of OAS in those that eat organic or homegrown fruit and vegetables.

If you are not familiar with this condition you may want to read the brief factsheet from Allergy UK on the subject.

The fruits and vegetables listed are currently categorised according to previous CAN Research surveys.

This survey is open to anyone and will be open until Sunday 9th February.

Take the survey here!

If you are interested in joining our Allergy Research Group we are on Facebook, here.
